I came across your web site and I hope you might be able to help. Roxy’s Best Of… Morris County, New Jersey has an icon for “Home Services” in your header and yet there are no services listed. I have just opened a new home care agency in Parsippany, NJ called Care Focus. This service is designed to help elderly who do not want to go to a nursing home but need help around the house during the day. I offer Companions who can assist in meal preparation, light housekeeping, driving to doctors appointments, reading, games…a variety of different services. Thanks for the reminder that I need to work harder at updating the content on all of my Roxy’s Best Of… local sites. Since I haven’t had the need for your services, I can’t give you the Roxy’s Best Of… official seal of approval, but I’d be happy to share the information about your home care agency with my loyal readers. The start of the New Year 2009 is certainly a reminder that we’re all getting older and some of us need a bit of help with everyday tasks. I’ve been struggling with that very issue on behalf of my 83-year-old mom, who lives in Somerset County. She doesn’t need a nursing home and might do well in a multi-tier assisted living facility, but in the meantime, she shouldn’t be climbing the basement stairs to do her own laundry.
